This Order gives effect in specified Overseas Territories to sanctions in respect of Burma applied by the European Union in Council Decision 2013/184/CFSP. On 22 April 2013, by Decision 2013/184/CFSP the Council of the European Union decided to revoke sanctions in respect of Burma except for the embargoes on the supply of arms and related materiel and equipment which might be used for internal repression, together with the prohibition on the provision of technical assistance and military assistance related to such goods. This Order revokes and replaces the Burma (Restrictive Measures)(Overseas Territories) Order 2009 and the Burma (Restrictive Measures)(Overseas Territories)(Suspension) Order 2012.

What Parliament said about it
Hansard was searched for this instrument by name and returned nothing. That is the ordinary outcome: an instrument laid under the negative procedure is usually never debated, and becomes law without a word said about it in either House.
How Parliament handled it
Parliament's Statutory Instruments service records procedure from May 2017 onwards, and this instrument predates it. That is a limit of the source, not a statement that nothing happened.
