These Regulations impose speed limits on the link roads of the newly constructed A1(M) Motorway and the M62 Motorway Holmfield Interchange. The A1(M) Motorway/M62 Motorway Holmfield Interchange was built as part of the upgrading of the A1 Trunk Road to the A1(M) Motorway in West Yorkshire. The principal provision of the regulations is to impose a 50 miles per hour speed limit on specified lengths of the six free flow link roads connecting the A1(M) Motorway and the M62 Motorway at Holmfield Interchange as described in the Schedule.
