This Order authorises Kent County Council to construct an extension to the existing stone pier at Margate Harbour, consisting of a new building to be used primarily as an art gallery and for leisure and educational purposes. The building will be connected to the stone pier by a bridge structure and will be named Turner Contemporary. Copies of the Order, plans, the sections and the book of reference are available for inspection free of charge during office hours at the offices of Kent County Council, Invicta House, County Hall, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1XX.
