This Order authorises West Somerset District Council in their capacity as the harbour authority for the harbour of Watchet to construct works at the harbour including an impounding wall for the construction and operation of a marina, the encasement of part of the harbour walls within the proposed marina, the construction of a sediment disposal pipe, the construction of a slipway alongside the Western Pier and dredging of various parts of the harbour. The deposited plans and sections and the Environmental Statement made available for inspection in accordance with paragraph 3 of Schedule 3 to the Harbours Act 1964 can be inspected during normal working hours at the offices of the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions, Great Minster House, 76 Marsham Street, London, SW1P 3EB and at the offices of the Council, Council Offices, Williton, Taunton, Somerset, TA4 4QA.
