Council Regulation (EC) No. 1081/2000 prohibits the sale, supply and export of certain specified equipment to Burma and the carrying out of related activities promoting the same. The Regulation specifies equipment which may be used for internal repression or terrorism. These regulations: a make it an offence to infringe either prohibition; and b make provision for enforcement.
