This Order authorises the construction, maintenance and operation of a railway in the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley consisting of part of the former railway authorised by the South Yorkshire, Doncaster and Goole Railway Act, 1847. The Order contains provisions relating to level crossings at Distillery Side, Tingle Bridge Lane and Smithy Bridge Lane. It also includes powers to execute street works and stop up streets temporarily. Copies of the deposited plans and sections may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council at the Town Hall, Barnsley, South Yorkshire S70 2TA.
