This Order prohibits foreign fishing boats from fishing within the Scottish zone without first obtaining a licence from the Scottish Ministers. This Order is made in consequence of the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union to ensure that fisheries within the Scottish zone are managed appropriately. An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the private or voluntary sector is foreseen.
