These Regulations amend the Welfare Foods (Best Start Foods) (Scotland) Regulations 2019 (“the principal regulations”). Regulation 3 inserts a definition of “the 1992 Act” into the principal regulations. This definition is used in regulations 17 and 18 of the principal regulations. Regulation 4(b) alters the modification to section 113(1A) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992 as it is applied by regulation 17(2)(b) of the principal regulations. Regulation 5 inserts a new regulation 18 into the principal Regulations. Regulation 18 relates to offences under the principal regulations. No Business and Regulatory Impact Assessment has been prepared in relation to these Regulations, as no impact upon business, charities or voluntary bodies is foreseen.
