Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations) — published with the instrument by the department that made it. © Crown copyright, reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

These Regulations provide for the execution and enforcement of Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/327 amending Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards requirements for the placing on the market and conditions of use of additives consisting of preparations. These Regulations amend the Animal Feed (Scotland) Regulations 2010. Regulation 2 re-states the definition of “Regulation 1831/2003” so that it includes all amendments made to it up to and including Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/2294. The definition therefore includes the amendments made by Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/327.

What Parliament said about it

Hansard was searched for this instrument by name and returned nothing. That is the ordinary outcome: an instrument laid under the negative procedure is usually never debated, and becomes law without a word said about it in either House.

How Parliament handled it

Parliament's Statutory Instruments service has no record of this instrument, although it covers the period. Nothing is inferred from that.
