This Order re-constitutes the Whitehills Harbour Commissioners in line with the recommendations of Modern Trust Ports for Scotland – Guidance for Good Governance published by Transport Scotland in November 2012. The Order also includes other provisions with respect to the constitution including provisions for the protection of the Commissioners from personal liability in the discharge of their functions. The Order also amends the Commissioners borrowing powers.
