This Order empowers the Fraserburgh Harbour Commissioners:– 1 to deepen part of Faithlie Basin in Fraserburgh Harbour; 2 to construct a new pier of open-work construction incorporating a shiplift in Faithlie Basin; 3 to reclaim and fill in the existing slipway in Faithlie Basin, level adjacent land, construct ship repair bays, a ship traverser bay and boundary walls and construct a retaining wall in the South Breakwater. The Order authorises the Commissioners to close temporarily the area of the proposed works for the purpose of carrying out the works. The Order increases the Commissioners' borrowing limit from £5,000,000 to £6,000,000. In relation to the election of Commissioners, the Order repeals a restriction on the number of categories of Commissioner in which a person may vote.
