Article 4(1) of The Private Tenancies (Northern Ireland) Order 2006 (“the Order”) requires the landlord of a private tenancy commencing after the introduction of the Order to provide the tenant with a written statement of the main terms of the tenancy within 28 days of the commencement of the tenancy. Regulation 1 relates to citation, commencement and interpretation. Regulation 2 sets out the particulars and information to be contained in a statement of tenancy terms.
