This Order makes miscellaneous amendments to the law relating to workers, employers, trade unions and employers' associations. It requires companies to include a statement about employee involvement in their annual report, amends the law relating to unfair dismissal and action short of dismissal, renders void any clause in a commercial contract which requires the use of union or non-union labour or which requires recognition of a trade union, makes provision for civil proceedings by and against trade unions and employers' associations and abolishes certain trade union immunities. The Order also empowers the Department of Economic Development to make certain arrangements to provide or assist employment.

What Parliament said about it
Hansard was searched for this instrument by name and returned nothing. That is the ordinary outcome: an instrument laid under the negative procedure is usually never debated, and becomes law without a word said about it in either House.
How Parliament handled it
Parliament's Statutory Instruments service records procedure from May 2017 onwards, and this instrument predates it. That is a limit of the source, not a statement that nothing happened.
